Don’t come to Whad’ya Know at the High Noon (at high noon) on May 20 expecting John Sieger to look like this deer in the headlights hair in the face young fellow of “Salty Tears’ (with lyrics  by Michael Feldman) fame, but let me ask you this, do you like those little Burberry derbies like Elvis Costello is now forced to wear? Well, OK then.

John and Semi-Twang will be joining us for our last show at the High Noon! <emoticon>

Gonna be a rocker, with all the usual quizzes, interviews, news that isn’t , John T & Jeff H jazz duet, a lot of drinking–heck, what could go wrong!

The original and only genuine Tom Servo from Mystery Science Theater 3000, J Elvis Weinstein, joins us this Saturday, April 29 at the High Noon Saloon, 701 E Washington, Madison, to premiere his new film “I Need You to Kill!”

Written, produced, directed and with an appearance by J Elvis, this film documents 3 American comics going to Hong Kong, Singapore & Macao to see if their standup holds up on the Chinese/Malaysian comedy club circuit. Trust me, it Kills!

All this and the Whad’ya Know Quiz playoffs, the John Thulin Really Big Band with Jeff Hamann, Stephanie Lee on good vibes, and little old me, Michael Feldman–hope to see you there!

J Elvis Weinstein (not pictured) perhaps better known as Servo on MST3K and ‘Freaks & Geeks’ writer talks about his directing chops in making ‘I Need You to Kill!” in which 3 standups (pictured) are sent to China to perform, and, to their credit, return.
